The Best Advice - Big value in early markets

Successful punters know that finding the right horses to back is only half the battle... the other half is getting on at the right price. With the advent of eary betting markets for Saturday racing, astute punters have a terrific opportunity to dramatically increase their profits by knowing exactly when the early price is big overs and too good to pass up.

How do you know? Well one way is to become a betting expert with an insight into not only the abiltiy of each horse and conditions on the day, but also the way betting markets work. The other way is to use the Smartform Betting Service.

Daniel's advice on what horses to back and insights into when the current market price is already big overs is second to none.

There are countless examples that show just how good the advice is:

20/8/11 Moonee Valley R5 - Kneeling (assessed $5.00) Price taken $12.00

First up today but in her only career start she was just beaten on the line in a Saturday class race behind Sport Chic. Her 92 rating from that run is right up there as the winning benchmark for this race with a few others that are priced much shorter in the market. That fact that the stable immediately put her away for this Spring preparation is a good sign to me and there is no doubt that she can return a better horse from that 3 month break. The combination of that debut rating and natural improvement over the last 3 months suggest to me that she should be right up there in the market, especially with the ability to race up on the pace from an inside draw.  It's a super competitive race with plenty of chances but the $12 on offer represents an excellent longshot gamble. I'm very happy to be on at that price.

Kneeling only got to $8.00 in the ring before being backed into $5.00 and winning

20/8/11 Belmont R6 - Ten Aces (assessed $3.30) Price taken $6.00w / $2.25p

Racing in top form, rating consistently around the 100 mark in each of his last 5 runs, which ratings nicely on top here and provides excellent betting confidence. He'll race right up the lead again and prove very hard to run down. There's no doubt in my mind that the $6.00 currently on offer is outstanding value. You can also get $2.25 the place which seems an incredibly generous price to me... given his recent form and figures it's hard for me to see him missing a place, but being more technical, he looks at least a 63% place chance ($1.60). If you were betting the win and could get $2.25 about a $1.60 chance then you'd be mad not to take it and that's certainly the case here, so I'm recommending you also back him the place.

Ten Aces was backed from $4.60 into $4.20 on course and won easily, with a best tote place dividend of $1.80.

13/8/11 Belmont R2 - Leica Jet - Price taken $8.50

Also in this race #1Leica Jet is currently $34w $8.50p (IAS)... I wouldn't be surprised if he ran well in this. He improved sharply 2nd up last time and showed fast early speed last start over 1200m which will serve him well back to 1000m here. He has a number of peak figures that give him a very genuine chance in this so while Ibrahimovic is clearly the best, there's no doubt to me that Leica Jet is currently well over the odds. A small outlay w / p can give a nice return here so in a rare move (betting two in one race) I'm also going to have something on him.

Leica Jet ran 3rd and the best place tote was only $4.90.

6/8/11 Morphettville R6 - Guru Bob (assessed $3.40) Price taken $4.20

Comes off a very solid 96 rating with a fast last section at Seymour last start and the form from the race has proven to be strong. Those figures rate comfortably on top here and on similar slow ground today there's every reason to be confident he can repeat. The market has him only marginally ahead of the other chances at the moment when his edge looks to be a little stronger than that. The current price $4.20 is nice value

Guru Bob was backed from $3.20 into $2.40 and won.

23/7/11 Flemington R1 - Pied A Terre (assessed $2.10) Price taken $2.50

Created a good impression on debut winning in a very solid 90 rating with a fast last 600m. That rates nicely clear of a bunch of others with ratings in the mid 80's here and if anything I'd expect Pied A Terre can only improve on his rating. I expect him to be well supported here, the $2.50 probably won't last.

Peid A Terre was backed from $2.00 into $1.80 and won.

There are countless more examples, especially with short priced horses like Pied A Terre above. Don't underestimate the power of these short priced edges. If you can get $2.50 about horses that only get to $2.00 in the ring then you will make a fortune in the long-run

Aside from the Smartform Betting Service, Daniel has also been providing these pearls of advice on other horses through Twitter:

20/8 Morph R2 - 20 mins out I'm certain that Manganese is over the odds at $16w and $4.20p so I'm snapping that up. More like a $7w $2.5p hope.

Manganese ran 2nd with a best place tote of $3.20

19/8 Canb R6 - 10 mins out I think the fav V'Street is well under odds. I've had big go Ten of Hearts $13w and $3.85 place! VConf it will place.

Ten Aces ran 3rd with a best place tote of $2.50

There's no doubt that it takes genuine knowledge and insight to identify these clear value opportunities and that's the benefit of the Smartform Service. It's professional advice based on Daniel's personal betting activity. If you're serious about your betting then you can't afford to miss these opportunities.
